講演題目：

Entropic formulation of (relativistic) continuum mechanicsand a causal
completion of relativistic fluid mechanics

講演要旨：

An entropic formulation of (relativistic) continuum mechanicsis
developed in the Landau-Lifshitz frame.We propose a local functional
representing the total entropy,and require that the entropy functional
be maximizedin the process of linear regression.We show that Onsager’s
original idea on linear regressioncan then be realized explicitly as
current conservationswith dissipative currents in the desired form.We
demonstrate the effectiveness of this formulation by showingthat one
can treat a wide class of relativistic continuum materials,including
standard relativistic viscous fluidsand relativistic viscoelastic
materials.We further argue that the latter can be utilized for a
causalcompletion of the standard relativistic fluid mechanics.
